Announcements Regarding Suspension of Classes Due to Weather or Other Causes
In the event of inclement weather and the accompanying need to suspend classes, or some other emergency situation, please be advised of the following District policy: "The Board will endeavor to keep all schools in the District open and in session on all regular school days throughout the year. If inclement weather or other conditions that endanger the health or safety of students prevail, the Superintendent shall make the required decision and report it to the Board Chair." The Superintendent shall make all announcements, including cancellation of bus transportation. Announcements will be posted on the front page of this web site and will be made over Radio Stations CKKQ 100.3, CBC 90.5, SUN-FM 89.7, CFAX 1070. A-Channel News will also be notified. Whenever possible, these radio announcements will be made early enough in the day to allow students to remain at home. Principals shall encourage parents to exercise their prerogative to keep their children at home should the weather present unusual hazards.

Winter School Bus Information Notice
With the winter season fast approaching, there may be times when bus routes will not be operating. The local radio stations assist us by announcing after 6:00AM when there are cancellatons or bus routes that are not operating. Afternoon Bus Routes
Starting September 7th until further notice all afternoon bus routes will run 15 minutes early from all schools. The times reflected in the schedules on the website will not be adjusted so please adjust your times by 15 minutes. Click here for schedules.
